Swinney’s innovative paintings create a dialog of complex emotion between the viewer and the work. “Lindy’s life experiences have shaped the depth and emotional quality of these works on canvas. Color and composition create the mood, suggestive of meaning but remaining open to multiple interpretations…..desires, joys, disappointments, pain and everyday life. All of these things unite us and create the complex fabric of humanity that is our world.”
