The haunting allure of a sideways glance, the mournful whisper of stories half told, and the sly silent laughter of a private joke. Varied and often conflicting elements intertwine in one irresistible summons: A Curious Confluence, a collection of photographs by Jim Fury-Hesterman. Opening reception will take place on Friday, November 4th from six to ten P.M.
Jim Fury-Hesterman’s work is “seemingly commercial” but “underneath there is a (sense) of the unknown… dark and deeply secretive or bright, surreal and a little bit funny.”
